Metro - I-35W Minnesota River Bridge: 2018-2021 construction

From the MN Department of Transportation

We want to keep you up to date for the upcoming and continuing overnight activities for the I-35W Minnesota River Bridge project that started in full swing last month.

If you are driving on I-35W overnight you will still encounter lane closures between Cliff Rd. and 106th St. beginning as early as 7 p.m. The road could also be reduced to a single lane in both directions starting at 10 p.m. through 6 a.m. the following morning. The overnight lane closures will last through the fall, occurring each day.

In addition, the northbound I-35W ramps at Black Dog Rd. will close overnight Thu, Sept 13, between 7 p.m. and 6 a.m. the following day.

Stay tuned: The ramp from 106th St. to southbound I-35W will close this fall and will remain closed through 2021. We will be sending more information when the closure date is determined.
